Child- led learning

The children are really enjoying learning about Spanish culture. They have been expressing themselves through dance, performing a flamenco dance, and have been creating their own instruments for their own Spanish band!

At Forest School the children have been engaged in building dens, nests and traps for the big bad wolf from the story of ‘The Three Little Pigs’.

Philosophy Bear has challenged the children’s thinking, posing philosophical questions to discuss in class and to share with adults at home.

Philosophy Bear has posed some new questions to reflect upon:

‘Did Goldilocks listen to her conscience? Are everybody’s ideas of right and wrong the same? Are we born knowing what is right and wrong?’

We have been learning about a healthy lifestyle and have enjoyed exercising during our circuit training sessions in P.E.
